Westin Waterfront College Party DJ: When Bentley University throws a college party – they invite everyone. With over 700 graduates – you need a large venue like the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel. And it’s not a party until you bring in a HUGE DJ rig, two DJs and some amazing lighting to top it all off. Finding just the right college DJ for your end of year formal can be a challenge. Not only do they have to play the right music to keep students dancing, but they need to have sound and lighting comparable to the size of your party. Bringing in a pair of speakers to an event with 700 students will not work.

For this event, we brought in 4-18″ subwoofers a pair of dual 15″ top speakers and 2 more pair of speakers for fill. There were two DJs and two DJ controllers tied into the main system. This allowed us to DJ back and forth between two different style DJs to keep everyone pumped and dancing. Whether you are old-school, looking for the latest Top 40 hits, Urban tracks or EDM, having two DJs just makes sense for your prom, school formal or college party.

With lasers, LED uplighting, large moving head dance lights and so much more – we add to the energy on the dance floor. As the lights pulsate, strobe and sweep across the dance floor and 700 gyrating college students, this is what a college party is all about. You can see in the time-lapse video below that we had people up and dancing both before the meal was served and before the hotel even got around to dimming the lights. That is what we call a party!

Talk about a HUGE PARTY.  With nearly 700 guests – this was a massive endeavor.  A 12 speaker, 10,000 watt sound system, 20′ of trussing and over a dozen lighting fixtures turned this place into a massive college party.   See our time-lapse video from that evening.
