5 Ways To Say “Thank You” To Your Wedding Guests

  |   Wedding Decor

Your guests are making it to your wedding to celebrate the love you and your fiancé have for one another and the commitment that you are undertaking. Everybody already knows that thanking your guests is absolutely customary (and necessary), but what if you want to thank them in a special way? Here are a few creative ideas on how to show your gratitude to your wedding guests with more than just a traditional thank you card.

… With a Card on Their Dinner Plate
You’re probably already planning to send your guests a personalized thank you card to your guests after your wedding, but that doesn’t have to be the only time you write them a sweet message. Having a wonderful, heartfelt card waiting for each of your guests on their plates will not only be thoughtful, but will also give them some reading material while they’re sitting at their seats and waiting for the party to start.

… With Personalized Party Favors
Party favors are a great way to thank you guests for coming to your wedding, and also a great chance to add a personal touch to your big day. It can be anything from monogrammed wine glass koozies and mason jars to photo frame bottle stoppers complete with a shot of the beaming bride and groom . Any gift that will remind them of your gratitude on a semi-daily bases is always a winner, so whenever they use your gift, they will think of you.

… By Taking Care Of Them
If there is a projected storm on your wedding day, buy some cheap umbrellas and provide them to your guests so that they stay dry on your big day. If you’re having an outdoor wedding and it might get cold, consider having blankets handy so guests can use them to keep warm. Have a “Sandal Swap” station where your female guests can take some flip-flops to dance in, rather than their uncomfortable heels. Your guests will be thankful because you are taking an invested interest in their well-being

… By Spending Time With Them
The best way to show your guests you and that you are thankful for their presence is by setting aside a little time to spend with each of them. Even though you may have many guests, make sure that you spend at least several minutes with each and every one of your guests. Not only will your guests be appreciative that you made time for them, but they’ll recognize you took time to show your appreciation of them.

… By Personalizing Their Thank You Card
While sending out thank you cards is incredibly important, personalizing the card to show just how much you appreciate their presence is also an incredible way to show much you care about them. A great way to do this is to mention something you talked about when you saw them at the wedding in your personalized message. This may be slightly more time-consuming, but it will show just how much you appreciate their presence you’re your special day.

Thanking your guests for the pleasure of their attendance to your wedding is not only customary, but it’s extremely important as well. By choosing something above, or putting your own spin on it, you’ll be able to tell your guests, “thank you” in a way that they will remember and value.
