Deanna & Jason’s Wedding Reception – Cascades Fine Catering – Hamden, CT
Deanna & Jason had both their ceremony and reception at Cascades Fine Catering in Hampden CT in November. It was actually pretty sunny and mild outside although the ceremony was held downstairs inside. They included both their kids in the ceremony and it was the cutest thing as one pulled the other in a white wagon down the aisle.
Upstairs in the cocktail area, we had a LCD screen going with a video slide show loop for guests to enjoy. Inside the main room we were setup for DJ and with our up-lighting in purple. Their name in lights were projected on the dance floor.
Deanna & Jason micromanaged their wedding from picking out cocktail and dinner music songs IN THE ORDER in which to be played. She even sent one of the Cascades staff down to see if we were going to have enough music for their 90 minute cocktail time as we were nearing the end of the list… we made it with 1 minute to spare as we rolled into their grand introductions and first dance.
There was a large gap between salad and entree – so we shifted gears and got everyone up dancing for about 45 minutes as we waited for meals to roll out of the kitchen.
