The Lake of Isles Wedding – Photos
Emily and Josh celebrated their wedding day at The Lake of Isles across the street from Foxwoods. Their ceremony was held outside on the deck overlooking the lake. There was just enough shade and a simple breeze – perfect day for an outdoor New England wedding ceremony.
Their guests headed up to Matches Tavern on the first floor of The Lake of Isles for their cocktail hour. A funky mix of 70’s and classic rock played in the background. They arranged for everyone to download an app on their smart phones – “Wedding Party” – so that guests could take photos and share with everyone. I even downloaded the “Wedding Party” app and took a few photos of The Lake of Isles and uploaded them.
Upstairs on the main level – dinner and dancing occured. They had a candy bar (my favorite!) and the room was lit with our purple up-lighting. This was definitely a classic rock and oldies night v. club feel. For their introductions we used “Crocodile Rock”, “Little Help From My Friends” and “Solsbury Hill”. So cool.
