Marquee Hartford Wedding:
The Gershon Fox Ballroom, Marquee Events & Catering is a wonderful location to host your wedding in downtown Hartford, CT. It is located at 960 Main Street in Hartford. This is the site of the old G Fox department store. My parents used to go there as kids. I remember visiting this art deco space growing up for art shows and even a Star Trek convention. I love the entry hallway that leads you into the atrium. This is not your typical wedding venue.
The space can be used in many ways. The atrium can be used for either ceremony or dancing. The Mezzanine – for cocktail hour. The main ballroom has been used for dinner and dancing. Let your imagination soar when you tour The Marquee in Hartford. Your wedding can be different just by using the space in a unique way.
We can provide tall white drapery as backdrop for your ceremony in the atrium (to hide the community college sign) and the columns in both the entryway and atrium can be lit up to warm the space. But, our most popular service is up-lighting the Gershon Fox Ballroom – with it’s over-sized columns and art deco feel – ambers and blues can really bring the room to life.
