Regan & Denis – Carriage House – Barney Estate – Forest Park Wedding DJ
Regan & Denis held both their ceremony and reception inside the Carriage House at the Barney Estate in Forest Park (Springfield, MA). They brought in live musicians for their ceremony music. We provided the microphones so everyone could hear them exchange their vows.
We had a tight schedule of events that night – bridal party ran fun and games between courses, there was a video slide show and multiple toasts from parents and bridal party. Things fell far behind when we were supposed to do introductions at 5pm, but photos ran REALLY LONG and we did not see the bridal party until nearly 6pm. It took another 20 minutes to get everyone ready, and bustle the dress.
We had so little room between tables, that the meal service took a bit longer as waitstaff had to fight to get between tables. We had originally planned on doing their cake cutting around 6:10 (end of meal) but the meal service didn’t end until 7:45 or so. After the formalities, we opened up the dance floor around 8:15 and ended only 45 minutes later at 9 (not allowed to go overtime at this facility). It was a fun party, but we just didn’t have enough time to dance.
Our up-lighting and their floral decor looked amazing. Denis brought his Ducati (and a Ferrairi) for them to drive around on.
