Worthington Ponds Wedding – Laurel and Kevin – Somers CT DJ
Worthington Ponds Wedding – Laurel and Kevin – Somers CT DJ: Laurel and Kevin were married on a warm June day next to the lower beaver pond at the stunning Worthington Ponds & Farm. We provided microphones and ran a Livestream so that Kevin’s family from Malta could join in on the celebration. After the ceremony, Laurel and Kevin thanked the guests for joining us remotely and moved over to the covered bridge that was set up for dinner and dancing. During cocktails and dinner, we played selections from the 70s and 80s. We also had a few special selections from Laurel’s great aunt Anne who was a recording classical pianist. After dinner, we had a few toasts from Kevin’s brother, Laurel’s parents, and some recorded toasts from Kevin’s family in Malta.
During the reception, Laurel and Kevin strayed away from many of the traditional formalities which made for an intimate cocktail party vibe. They let us know that their friends and family may not be the biggest dancers, but we ended up having a nice size group on the dance floor, while the other guests enjoyed music, conversation, and games.
