When I first chatted with Anna and Chris, they made it known that they wanted their wedding to be the party of all parties! These families came together with amazing energy and packed the dance floor all night. One of my favorite parts of the process is learning about every couple I work with and their unique story, and Anna and Chris have a pretty amazing one. Chris is from Scotland and was visiting some friends for St. Patrick’s Day when he met Anna and borrowed some sunglasses. Well, who could tell that it would lead to them marrying each other and making it through the challenges of a long-distance relationship?
So let’s talk about the wedding day! Chris and Anna held their reception at the Hotel Northampton we caught up with them after cocktail hour to introduce the wedding party and kick off the celebration and brought everyone into some 90s dance classics!
After dinner, we broke out the LED foam sticks, turned on the club dance lighting, and packed the dance floor. We played hits spanning the decades. Some favorites from the night were “Saturday Night” by Whigfield, “Mr. Brightside” by the Killers, and “Starships” by Nicki Minaj. We ended the night with an Anna and Chris favorite “You Shook Me All Night Long” – AC/DC and everyone headed to the after party.
