Anne and Vanja were so much fun to work with! They wanted a totally non-traditional wedding that emphasized all of their interests. With few formalities guests were able to mingle, play board games, spend time out by the firepit, and of course tear it up on the dance floor. After a heartfelt and beautifully thought out ceremony on a gorgeous day in early May the guests made their way down to WRBC’s patio for cocktail hour and then into the barn for dinner and mingling.
Anne and Vanja were all about the Indie music vibes throughout cocktail and dinner before breaking out the 80s, 90s and 2000s hits later in the night. We kicked off the dancing portion of the evening with Anne and Vanja’s first dance to Inevitable by Anberlin, followed by a dance they shared with their parents to Teach Your Children by Crosby, Stills, and Nash. Their family danced throughout the night and we sent everyone home to one of Anne and Vanja’s favorite tunes “Our Paths Will Cross Again” – William Elliot Whitmore.
