I got a text from Connor’s Dad, Rob last summer letting me know that his son was getting married and that they might be reaching out. I let him know I was available and shortly after, heard from Connor and Marissa. They were a joy to work with! They both work as first responders, which, as you can imagine, can get hectic. We planned in small chunks to put together the perfect day for the two of them!
Connor and Marissa held their ceremony and reception at the Pond House in Elizabeth Park in West Hartford. After the ceremony (which was moved inside because of a passing storm) the bar opened up and guests began to mingle to the fun, upbeat soundtrack that Connor and Marissa put together. After dinner we opened up the dancefloor, starting with some classics and making our way to tons of 2000s rap! We finished up the night with two of their favorite songs, “With Arms Wide Open” by Creed and “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen before sending guests to the shuttle to head to the after-party!
