Lighting options for indoor weddings
Whether you are looking to hang string lights, an Edison Bulb installation, some of our 360 Tube lights or uplighting and texture pattern lights projections, there are many styles of lights to choose from for your indoor wedding venue. We always suggest that you meet with one of our lighting designers at your venue (sometimes we suggest that we meet at DUSK so you can see the venue as it gets dark to identify the problem areas that need additional task lighting). We can come up with a design and game plan for your lighting.
We’ll also need to know if we can get into your venue the day prior or if there is a tight window required for setup. That impacts what we can do and the amount of staff that we need to support the install. Many of our Berkshire weddings and Hudson Valley weddings – we are installing on Thursday and Friday for Saturday weddings. The same goes with needing to know if we need to strike the lights at the end of your wedding or whether Sunday or Monday removal is allowed. This will drastically impact our planning process and we need to know those details upfront during the quoting process to guarantee that we have staffing available on the needed days for your wedding lighting install.

Creative outdoor lighting ideas
When it comes to outdoor wedding lighting – there are many more options to choose from. Our BoHo wicker fixtures have been a big favorite these past couple of wedding seasons. So are our free-standing poles and string lights to help extend the party space outside your tent or barn wedding space. We are your tent and barn wedding lighting specialists. From our standard bistro string lights (2″ diameter bulbs) to our popular twinkle (smaller bulbs – denser design patterns), we can create that canopy of light over your wedding space. Did I mention that we also install crystal chandeliers and our custom wood chandeliers and table arches? We can add texture patterns to your tent ceiling or the outside of buildings. Be sure to browse our wedding blog and online galleries as well as our Instagram account for images from our past installations for your inspiration. Have an inspo image that you got on Pinterest? Send it to us and let us see if we can recreate the design for you at your wedding.

Choosing the right lighting for your wedding style
When selecting lighting for your wedding style, consider the ambiance you want to create. Soft and warm lighting can add a romantic touch, while colorful lights can bring a fun and vibrant feel. It’s essential to match the lighting with your overall wedding theme to set the right mood. Consult with a professional lighting designer to help you choose the best lighting options for your special day.
DIY lighting techniques for a personalized touch
DIY lighting techniques can add a personalized touch to your wedding ambiance. You can create a warm and intimate atmosphere by using string lights or fairy lights around the venue. Candles or lanterns can also add a romantic glow to the space. Customized marquee lights with your initials or wedding date can serve as a unique focal point. Up-lighting or color-changing LED lights can create a dramatic effect and enhance the overall mood of the celebration. Experiment with different techniques to find the perfect lighting combination that reflects your style and vision for your special day.
Working with professional lighting vendors
When working with professional lighting vendors for your wedding, it’s essential to communicate your vision clearly. Be sure to discuss your venue’s layout, color scheme, and any specific lighting effects you desire. Professional vendors can provide expert advice on lighting placement, intensity, and timing to create the perfect ambiance for your special day. Collaborating with experienced lighting professionals can help ensure that your wedding lighting enhances the overall atmosphere and highlights key elements of your venue.
Creating a memorable lighting experience
To create a memorable lighting experience for your wedding, consider using a combination of warm and soft lights to set a romantic mood. Use Edison bulbs or string lights for a cozy ambiance. For outdoor weddings, lanterns and candles can add a magical touch. Highlight key areas like the dance floor or cake table with spotlights or uplighting. Dimmable lights can help adjust the atmosphere throughout the event. Remember, the key is to create a unique and personalized ambiance that reflects the mood you want to convey.
