Ellen & Jay held their intimate 85 person wedding at The Wadsworth Atheneum Museum in downtown Hartford CT. I think it was the first day in 2 months where it didn’t rain. It was a reserved wedding with limited dancing but we helped them set the perfect tone for what they wanted.
They were all about their Lo-Fi music mix for cocktails in the courtyard and dinner in The Morgan Great Hall. At the end of dinner, we had the facility dim the lights and dancing started, but the lights came back up and the dance floor subsided. No one likes to dance in a bright room. Our small core group of dancers enjoyed everything from funk to EDM to old school. Their nieces and nephews got to hear THRILLER and were so excited.
