Emily + Shawn – Wedding at Rosedale Farm Tent – Simsbury CT Wedding DJ
Emily & Shawn gave me a call the morning of their wedding. There were flash flood warnings and pretty much nothing but rain in the forcast for their wedding day. No worries – we’ve done this before. We switched gears and instead of their ceremony being out in the vineyard, we did it in the corner of the tent. What a surprise for us when their relative, Ernie Sabella (From Lion King – Pumbaa) performed their ceremony.
Emily & Shawn wanted their wedding to be upbeat and they had me limit slows songs to only a couple. What a fun party – people were up and dancing before Emily and Shawn were even done with their wedding photos. They danced until the very last song as they circled around Emily and Shawn. One of their friends from Boston was there as a guest – he was a wedding DJ as well. His wife came up to me and said that I was at least a 15% better DJ than her own husband and she really loved him. 15%? I’ll take that.
