What do you get when you put a beautiful day, a wonderful dinner, great music, and a bunch of medical professionals together? Grant and Emily’s amazing wedding at the Taconic Hotel When I first met with Emily’s Mom Ge, we talked about how the focus was going to be more on the dinner portion and that there was going to be light dancing for this wedding of about 45. I was not prepared for the party this group brought! For a smaller wedding, a good portion of the guests was on the dancefloor for most of the evening! Let’s rewind a bit… We started off the day with the ceremony on the lawn at the Taconic. Flang (the officiate) came armed with great jokes and crafted a beautifully meaningful ceremony. Everyone stayed on the lawn for cocktail hour before coming up to the covered porch for an amazing dinner and Toasts. We started off the dancing section with Grant and Emily’s first dance and then started off the dancefloor with some Disco. (as requested) We moved all around genres and generations of music and made sure to play plenty of Taylor Swift (Emily’s favorite)
