I think I had to reprint Heather and Scott’s wedding paperwork at least 3x the week of their wedding as the last-minute changes kept rolling in. When I went to line up the bridal party, YES – there were even more changes, but as a wedding DJ, you can make a quick simple change but you can’t reassign the entire bridal party lineup without screwing up the introductions so we went according to the paperwork lineup approved by Heather and Scott.
Mass MoCA is a broken-up facility with clients using different spaces for different purposes so we had sound systems set up for their ceremony in one room. their cocktail hour musician tied into our system for cocktails and then we had a 3rd system for the dinner space where introductions, toasts, and their trivia game took place. With their timeline, we had only about an hour to dance after dinner so when the time came to dance, we hit them hard and didn’t slow down until the last song of the night.
