Weddings At The Hotel Northampton: Iโve always loved working weddings at the Hotel Northampton located in downtown Northampton Massachusetts. There were wedding seasons where Iโd be there 3 or 4 times each month DJing wedding after wedding in the Hotel Northampton ballroom. Iโve always loved the feel and architecture of the Hotel Northampton for weddings. It is a great backdrop for your wedding reception.
Iโm a fan of having a separate space for cocktail hour to dinner and dancing at a wedding. At The Hotel Northapton, social hour is typically held in the hotel lobby and outer hall overlooking downtown Northampton Massachusetts.
The Hotel Northamptonโs ballroom will limit your guest count. No 200 or 300 person wedding here, but thatโs part of the charm of this Northampton old world hotel wedding. You donโt have to worry about guests driving after the wedding festivities. It is a short elevator ride to your room once the last song plays at your wedding.
As a wedding DJ, we are uniquely in tune with room acoustics. THe Hotel Northapton is a narrow / wide room configuration. Two speakers from your wedding DJ just wonโt cover this space properly. Everone will not hear announcements or wedding speeches without a 3 or 4 speaker sound system from your wedding DJ. Leave your subwoofer at home โ this room with all the wood is rich sounding all on itโs own.
