Kristen & Alan’s Wedding Reception – Eolia Mansion Harkness Memorial Park
Kristen & Alan held their Alice in Wonderland themed wedding at Eolia Mansion in Harkness Memorial Park in Waterford CT. Their wedding ceremony was held just outside the mansion near the pergola. Some guests wore costumes to go with their theme. Their tablescape were setup with playing cards (to give away centerpieces) and teapots and biscuts.
We brought in our smaller crystal chandeliers and hung them in the tent.

It always gets a little chaotic behind the scenes when the caterer, photographer and DJ all have different timelines. Yep – I had 2:30 ceremony, they had 2:00 ceremony. I had toasts outside under tent, caterer had it INSIDE mansion. I had cake cutting at 5:15, caterer did not bring cake out until nearly 6, leaving us with an awkward 30-45 minutes after dinner ended and BEFORE guests came out to dance under the tent. We all worked behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly.
