Lucy & Luke – New Marlborough, MA Tent Wedding

Lucy and Luke held their wedding at Lucy’s family home in New Marlborough, MA right down the street from Gedney Farm. They held their ceremony in an open field overlooking a meadow of greenery before heading to the tent amongst the beautifully kept gardens. We got to work with Jessy from Birdhouse Events, Eric Limon Photography, Wheelhouse Catering, and Mahaiwe Tent for this one making for an amazing group of vendors for an amazing couple!

Let me just say….. These families came to party! It was a nonstop evening of dancing and excitement. We kick off the festivities with Lucy and Luke crushing their first dance to “II Most Wanted” by Beyonce/Miley Cyrus before rolling into toasts. After a beautiful dinner from Wheelhouse, we did a couple quick parent dances. Lucy and her dad dance to “Edelweiss” from The Sound of Music, while Luke and his mom danced to “Day’s Like This” by Van Morrison. After that, the party really got going! We played hits from every decade and had a packed floor.

During the ceremony Lucy and Luke had some gorgeous vows that filled us in on some cool bits of info we used later in the night. On one of their early dates they sang “Breaking Free” the classic 2000s duet from “High School Musical”. I noticed it wasn’t on their list but we snuck it in during dance time and the energy in the tent exploded we quickly grabbed them a mic and sang it out for all of their friends! It was an amazing night filled with laughter and fun with two amazingly sweet families.
