We love working at Mass MoCA weddings because they are all so unusual. Each uses the spaces at Mass MoCA differently and it draws cool and different couples. Robin and Jake are architects. With about 130 guests, they opted to spin the ceremony 90 degrees in the Spencer Finch Gallery compared to how it is normally set up. Their cocktail hour and toasts were done at The Prow. Then dinner and dancing were in the main gallery space (normally dancing is in the event space). It made for a different flow to their unique wedding. And, yes – we had sound systems set up for each area so there was a smooth flow from space to space.
