southFARMS – White Barn Wedding: We had the opportunity to do a site visit at southFARMS in Morris CT. Their WHITE Barn (rebuilt Dairy Barn) is just amazing inside. The details (and cleanliness) are stunning. Have your cocktail hour outside overlooking the valley with the cows in the pasture in the distance. Hold your ceremony in one of the fields nearby. You can be introduced down the wood and metal staircase or create a lounge area in the loft for your guests.

Thinking about having a barn wedding in CT? Setting the perfect decor and tone for your wedding is important. You don’t want your wedding to be like everyone else. Think of utilizing a wedding planner to help with your color pallet and decor. That’s what they do best. You can sit back and relax and not have to rush around on your wedding day trying to set up for your own wedding. Your wedding day is a day you should be pampered and just concentrating on having a great time and socializing with friends and family.
Have your wedding outside – our battery-powered dedicated sound systems for wedding ceremonies will have multiple wireless microphones and musicians can tie in or we can provide music playback as you walk down the aisle. At southFarms, social hour is normally outside as well. We can provide a separate sound system for that while our main sound system is already set up inside for dinner and dancing. We will never be tearing down or setting up gear while guests are in any of the event spaces. That’s just not professional DJ etiquette. We want your wedding day to be a smooth transition from space to space with continuous music played from the first song as you walk down the aisle to the last song as your guests circle around the two of you to end the night’s celebration.
