The Branford House – Groton Avery Point Wedding – Elizabeth + Travis
Elizabeth and Travis were one of our Covid couples – I think they had 3 wedding dates and maybe even a venue change before they were able to have their wedding at The Branford House – at The UConn Avery Point campus. We provided both DJ and lighting inside and outside for their wedding day. It was a much older reserved crowd (more than half seemed to be over the age of 60/70) so dancing was limited but we set the tone for their celebration as they wished.
They were married at a local church, but cocktails were outside The Branford House and then everyone moved into the Great Hall for dinner and then into the West Room for dancing. We ended the night with Stairway To Heaven (their request) at midnight.
