Why Is Planning A Wedding So Hard?
Why Is Planning A Wedding So Hard?
Weddings from The Berkshires to Boston MA and The CT Shoreline to Hudson Valley NY
Why Is Planning A Wedding So Hard? Most couples just don’t know; where do you start planning a wedding? What to remember when planning a wedding? Maybe everyone needs some help planning a wedding with a to-do list? You are not alone. Relax and ask for help if you need it. There are many wedding planners out there to help to take the pressure off of you with regards to decor or sifting through wedding vendors. They’ve done it before and they can help you through the wedding planning process. Yes – wedding planners will charge you for their services and it may seem like another line item on the wedding budget, but planning a wedding can be a full-time job. On top of your already full-time job – who has the time?
If you are more of a DIY Wedding Planner – no worries. By choosing the right cast of wedding vendors, they will take the pressure off of you as well. Don’t expect that Craigslist DJ or friend of a friend photographer to do anything more than make your wedding planning even more miserable. You need professional help. That’s going to cost you – don’t pick the cheapest DJ and Photographer or Wedding Venue – that just puts more pressure on you. Having a core group of amazing wedding vendors will make your wedding day so much easier and worry free.
Your caterer/venue will help you figure out the logistics of the day and timeline of events. Your photographer will guide you about who should be where and when for photography purposes and let you know how much time to allocate to capturing your day. Your DJ/MC will help you arrange special moments for maximum emotional impact and build energy over the course of your wedding day culminating with all your guests up on their feet and dancing.
“From start to finish, Rob was warm and funny (taking the stress out) and still professional. All the details matched up to what we discussed, and the photo booth was a big hit with our crowd. The dance floor was almost always packed, and if there ever was a lull, Rob and his team knew exactly what to play to get it back to “bumpin”. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a professional DJ to make your day special.” – Rebekah & Jim
There are many DJ Wedding Reception Checklists available to help you focus on the important details of your day. You can also find Wedding Reception Music Suggestions to help you find just the right song for your celebration’s feel. Not only do you want your music choices to reflect your personalities, but the same goes with all the special events and details of your wedding day. If the wedding decor doesn’t fit the two of you or if the background music during cocktails doesn’t seem like it fits your personalities or life, then your wedding day will seem just like every other wedding out there. No one wants that.
With wedding planning – it’s all about customizing your day to fit your personalities. We’ve done so many weddings of differing designs and feel that we know the importance of morphing into what is needed for the day, from announcements to the way things flow on your wedding day. If you are more laid back in style, your wedding day shouldn’t feel like a fist-pumping Jersey shore wedding. The same goes for the reverse. We’ve had couples that did not want to be the center of attention and wanted to take the spotlight off of them as much as possible – even though it was their wedding day. Other couples want to focus on keeping things upbeat from the moment guests arrive. What is the feel that the two of you want at your wedding?
“Tony Simmons was our DJ, and we also had a photo booth. They were fantastic, really polite and enthusiastic staff who totally listened to us and respected what we wanted from start to finish. Nothing cheesy or annoying at all, and everybody loved the music! Tony took care of everything, and we had no problems at all. The photo booth attendant was really great, really fun and friendly. Loved it! ” – Jenessa G

He was friendly and personable at the first meeting and dj Jesse was wonderful and was able to incorporate all the last minute details we wanted to include in the reception. Everyone commented on how awesome the music was and he really made the day perfect. Thank you for making our special day wonderful!” – Katherine W

“Rob helped deliver an incredible experience. We were able to give him the style of music we were looking for and the tone that we were hoping to go for and Rob delivered. We received many compliments on the music but really that credit goes to Rob. In addition to being very personable Rob was very flexible. There were a number of calls that we had scheduled Rob which we had to cancel for a variety of reasons and Rob never had any difficulty rescheduling us.” – Rachel W
